How to Import Point Coordinates into Your RTK Controller Using ApekSurv

Importing point coordinates into your RTK controller is a quick and straightforward process when you follow the right steps. Whether you're setting up control points or preparing for staking, this guide will walk you through how to do it using the ApekSurv software.

We'll divide the process into two parts:
① Preparing and transferring the CSV file on your computer
② Importing the CSV file on your RTK controller

🖥️ Part 1: Prepare and Transfer the CSV File on Your Computer

  1. Create a CSV file on your computer using Excel or another spreadsheet program.

  2. Enter the data in the correct order:

    • Point Name

    • Northing

    • Easting

    • Elevation

  3. Save the file in CSV format (Comma-Separated Values).

  4. Right-click the saved file and select Copy.

  5. Open the ApekSurv folder on your computer. This folder should be linked or synced with your RTK controller.

  6. Inside the ApekSurv folder, find and open the Import folder.

  7. Right-click inside the Import folder and select Paste to copy your CSV file here.

📲 Part 2: Import the Data on the RTK Controller

  1. Turn on your RTK controller and open the ApekSurv software.

  2. Navigate to Data > Import Data.

  3. Select CSV as the file format to import.

  4. Click Next, then browse to find the CSV file you just pasted in the Import folder.

  5. Select the file and click OK to start importing.

  6. After the import finishes, check the Point Database to verify all points have been successfully imported.

That's It!

Your coordinate data is now loaded into the RTK controller and ready to use for your surveying or staking tasks.
